JUBILEE 2025 – ROME, ITALY

St. Peter's Square, located in Vatican City, is a monumental plaza in front of St. Peter's Basilica. Designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, it is known for its impressive colonnades, central obelisk, and the massive space that accommodates thousands of pilgrims and visitors. St. Peter's Square is the site of many significant events, including papal ceremonies and public addresses by the Pope.

St. John Lateran, the oldest of Rome's four major basilicas, serves as the Pope's official ecclesiastical seat. Renowned for its stunning architecture, ancient relics, and the Holy Door opened during Jubilee years, it is a vital spiritual and historical site for Catholic pilgrims.

Santa Maria Maggiore, one of Rome's major basilicas, is renowned for its stunning mosaics and beautiful interior. It holds significant relics and serves as an important pilgrimage site, often included in Jubilee celebrations and spiritual journeys like World Youth Day.
